In the true tradition of wild Africa, we offer excellent dangerous game hunting (Buffalo, Crocodile, Elephant, Hippo, Leopard & Lion) as well as plains game hunting of species not typically found in other regions (Lichtenstein hartebeest, Roosevelt Sable, Nyasa Wildebeest, etc). Because of the extensive and expansive nature of our hunting concession we offer experienced and fully qualified trackers thoroughly familiar with the terrain and geographical features of the landscape, as well as the habits and movements of the game species, to heighten the success of our hunters. These are true professionals, who love and live for what they do. Applied methods of hunting are spot-and-stalk, tracking, hunting from blinds, etc.

There are minimum caliber requirements in Tanzania; .240 for plains game and .375 for dangerous game. Bow hunting is permitted. The use of automatic weapons and hand guns are prohibited.

The fleet of hunting vehicles are reliable, fully equipped, rugged vehicles suitable for the rigors of the African bush.

The hunting season in Tanzania is open from 1st of July to 30 November.

Your Trophy Hunting Safari will take place in the Selous Game Reserve in blocks U4, LR1, LR2 & MS1 consisting of 480,000 hectares (over 1.1M acres) of pristine African wilderness specifically set aside for world-class dangerous game and plains game hunting without equal, and designed by nature to challenge you and your senses. Most of the terrain in Tanzania is dry savannah. However, in some areas, especially in the Selous Region, there are fairly dense forests.

The Selous Game Reserve is one of the oldest and largest reserves in all of Africa; 4 times the size of the famed Serengeti, and larger than Switzerland. The Selous contains globally significant populations of Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopards and many other species. Within the Selous there is no habitation, no cultivation, no cattle and no fences. Access to the Selous is strictly controlled, and limited to the clients, invited guests, and staff of the registered safari companies approved by the Tanzanian Government.
